Bharatanatyam classes include dance, tala and theory.

Fees 2026-2027

Group class fees

Up to age 11€ 120per half year · €240 per dance year
Ages 12–17€ 150per half year · €300 per dance year
Age 18 and over€ 180per half year · €360 per dance year

Classes last 2 hours a week. The fee applies per dance year and is paid in advance in two half-yearly instalments. You can cancel at any time with one month’s notice; fees paid in advance for the period after the notice period are refunded pro rata. Lessons missed because of illness, holidays or other personal circumstances are not refunded.

Private Bharatanatyam lessons

Individual dance lessons are given by appointment.

Once a week€ 25per lesson of 75 minutes
Twice a week€ 40per week, for two lessons of 60 minutes

Individual lessons are paid in advance.

Indian classical vocal music

Individual lessons in Hindustani or Carnatic classical vocal music.

Children€ 10per single lesson of 50 minutes
Adults€ 15per lesson of 1 hour

Specialised nattuvangam lessons are intended for advanced dancers and Bharatanatyam teachers.

Dresscode

For Bharatanatyam classes, students wear:

  • Red top to just above the knee
  • White leggings or pyjama trousers
  • White scarf
  • Red bindi
